Stairs to reception area are steep!!! Shared bathroom setup is inconvenient with limited privacy!!! Overall dated decor feels like a relic of the past!!!

Everything was clean and great. Overall the staff was polite. My single room with the fantastic view and private bathroom was big. The location of the hotel was marvellous and incredible - at a short distance from a medieval cathedral. I came here for 2 nights and had a comfortable stay...

The hotel is conveniently located near main attractions.

The hotel felt outdated, and my room lacked essential updates. The shared bathrooms were inconvenient, causing me to hike floors for facilities. There were issues with maintenance, including a dripping AC.

Stayed here and it was an absolute disaster. The shared bathrooms were a nightmare, I had to hike floors for the toilet! I expected a welcome gift for my troubles, which clearly didn't happen. The place is tired and outdated-seriously, it's as old as time itself. I almost wrote a good review, but just couldn't.

We spent 4 days in Florence and was surprise because Hotel Lorena is close to trains station, just only 7 minute walking. The hotel is so close to San Lorenzo market, Duomo, and many other museums. The staffs are so helpful and speak good english and gave me many information about Florence and printed all information that we needed. We enjoy during our stay in Florence, enjoy the hotel and enjoy the best location in the heart of Florence. My wife really enjoy the local market with local food which just 2 minute walking from Lorena.
